Building Endowment

Named endowed funds support Friends in myriad essential ways, from curricular innovation to staff development, from financial aid to technological exploration. With an endowment pledge, supporters make a direct and immediate impact in investing in the future of the School.

As of June 2018, the Friends Seminary endowment was $30,651,575  (including $2.6 million in pledges).

Friends has 89 named endowment funds, supporting the School in numerous vital ways, from financial aid and professional development to the curricular development. Click here to see the named endowed funds at Friends.

 

As of June 2018, Light the Future has added eight new endowed funds, as well as raised more than $7.9 million restricted to endowment. $1,248,109 has come from twelve bequests received or pledged. Click here to learn more about planned giving.
